Balsamic beef stir fry, a quick, tasty and healthy dish that you can whip up in no time at all.
Ingredients
- 500g Stir fry beef
- 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp Dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Five spice mix
- Spring onions*
- Peppers*
- Baby Corns*
- Rice, to serve
*Can be substituted for your veg of choice.

Method
To start marinate the beef in a bowl with the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and five spice mix. Leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes, the longer the better if you have the time.
If you don`t have beef handy this is also quite nice with pork or chicken.
Heat a wok or pan until hot. Tip in the beef and finely chopped spring onions, stir fry for 2 minutes.
Add the peppers and baby corn, then stir fry for a further 2 minutes.
Serve with rice, garnish with some fresh spring onion and enjoy!

I love recipes that make use of things I already have in the fridge, and this was a nice change from the usual soy sauce stir fry. Super quick and easy, and very tasty. The balsamic and soy mix thickens nicely in the pan 😊😊😊
