This simple 3 ingredient orange chocolate mousse is a twist on a recipe from Heston Blumenthal.
Made with dark chocolate , triple sec & hot water its so simple to make and is completely gluten & dairy free!
Ingredients
- 350g dark chocolate, minimum 70% cocoa finely chopped
- 235ml hot water (+- 70°C)
- 35ml Triple Sec
Method
- Place the chocolate in a bowl, add the hot water and triple sec. Using a fork, mix well until the chocolate has melted.
- Place the bowl over an iced water bath and whisk until the mixture begins to thicken.
- Remove the bowl from the iced water bath and continue whisking until the mixture sets to a soft serve consistency.
- Chill for 10 mins and serve.
If the mousse becomes too set, just sit it over a bain marie for a few seconds to loosen it up.
